Western Downs Regional Council endeavours to support tertiary students in gaining valuable practical experience to enhance studies and career options.  Upon student request, Council provides University Student Bursaries, which includes paid employment during holidays and $500 per successful completion of a semester at university.

Placements are offered all year round however intake is dependent on resourcing. Council offers a challenging, dynamic work environment where professionals take the time to coach and mentor students.
