The role of the Engineering Services is to provide specialist technical services and to undertake coordination of the engineering aspects of all projects to ensure the delivery of design and construction. This directorate is responsible for the investigation, planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of Council infrastructure and facilities. This includes roads, water and sewerage networks and treatment, drainage, footpaths, parks and reserves, demand management of water, cemeteries, natural gas distribution and retail, as well as tending to the asset management of Councils assets.
