Details Regarding St George Evacuation

Due to the mandatory evacuation of St George as a result of flooding, evacuees have been transported from St George to Dalby and taken to the Dalby Showgrounds evacuation centre. Red Cross is onsite, and coordinating the evacuation centres.

A precautionary boil water alert has been issued by Queensland Health for residents on Warra town water. The alert follows a positive E.coli result detected during Western Downs Regional Council’s routine sampling.
