2010 / 2011 Revenue Statement A new Revenue Statement is prepared each year.
Rating Information Rates and charges are levied twice a year. General rates are calculated using the relevant rate in the dollar (for each rating category as determined at Council’s annual budget meeting) multiplied by the unimproved value of the rateable property. Most rate/charge payments received by Council or its appointed agents prior to the close of business on the due date specified on the rate notice will attract a discount of 10%. Payment of all relevant rates and charges must be made in full by due date to receive discount. Discount does not apply to fire levies, special rates and charges or interest charges. |
