Western Downs Regional Council has two operating sale yards. These yards are in Dalby and Wandoan. The Dalby Saleyards has the second largest throughput of cattle of any saleyard in Australia. The peak trend line has been steady at approximately 200,000 head per annum.

It is understood that all except one have serviced the Dalby Saleyards and region for over 50 years with a number of having serviced Dalby for over 100 years. One agency has operated for less than 10 years.

Sheep: Sheep & Lamb 10 am every Monday.
Wandoan Saleyards don't have a regular sale. It is only used for special stud sales etc occurring a couple times a year.
