Choosing the right Gas AppliancesWhen buying gas appliances look for safety features such as flame failure devices which cut of the gas if the flame is accidentally extinguished and automatic re-ignition which allows the appliance to relight itself if the flame is dentally extinguished.
Make sure you choose Certified AppliancesOnly buy and use gas appliance and components certified by the Australian Gas Association and ensure your appliances are installed by a qualified gas fitter. Always use your appliances according to the manufactures instructions provided and follow servicing and maintenance requirements. Only use your appliance for the purpose intended.
Look for a Australian Gas Association or Queensland Gas Association appliance badges to ensure appliances are certified.
