Chinchilla Water Supply

Access Charge

For each potable water meter, a fixed access charge of $251.55 per annum will apply.

Volumetric water charges

Water meters will be read and volumetric water charges will be billed at six monthly intervals in accordance with the measured consumption for each six monthly period.

Six monthly charges for water supplied through the service and measured by meter, will be:

$0.90 per kilolitre	for all water up to 100 kilolitres
$1.35 per kilolitre	for all water from 101 kilolitres up to 400 kilolitres
$2.26 per kilolitre	for all water in excess of 400 kilolitres

Brigalow and Kogan

A water access and allocation charge of $513.85 will be charged per annum.

Access Charge

For each potable water meter, a fixed access charge of $326.80 per annum will apply.

Volumetric water charges

Water meters will be read and volumetric water charges will be billed at six monthly intervals in accordance with the measured consumption for each six monthly period.

Six monthly charges for water supplied through the service and measured by meter, will be:

$1.35 per kilolitre	for all water up to 250 kilolitres per annum
$3.39 per kilolitre	for all water in excess of 250 kilolitres per annum

Dalby Water Supply

Access Charge

For each potable water meter, a fixed access charge of $223.60 per annum will apply.

A fixed access charge of $223.60 per annum will apply for each parcel of vacant rateable land separately valued and situated within 91.44m (300ft) from the middle of the road in which a water main is laid.

Water Meter Rental

Where a 20mm or 25mm meter is installed on a water service, meter rental shall not be applicable.

A potable water meter rental charge will apply to the following types of meters:

32mm meter (1¼”)	$54.80
40mm meter (1½”)	$73.10
50mm meter (2”)	$111.80
80mm meter (3”)	$118.25
100mm meter (4”)	$141.90
150mm meter (6”)	$589.10

 

A recycled water meter rental charge will apply to the following types of meters:

Detector meters are charged rental based on the number and size of the bypass meter/s.

    on the combined rentals of the large and small

Potable (drinking) Water

Six monthly charges for water supplied through the service and measured by meter, will be:

$1.24 per kilolitre	for all water up to 125 kilolitres
$2.47 per kilolitre	for all water from 125 kilolitres up to 15,000 kilolitres
$3.71 per kilolitre	for all water in excess of 15,000 kilolitres

 

Recycled Water

Until recycled water supply is available all recycled water connections will be supplied with potable (drinking) water and will be charged as such:

For each recycled water meter, a fixed access charge of $167.70 per annum will apply.

$1.18 per kilolitre	for all recycled water up to 125 kilolitres
$1.88 per kilolitre	for all recycled water in excess of 125 kilolitres

For each potable water meter, a fixed access and allocation charge of $548.25 per annum will apply.

Volumetric water charges

Water meters will be read and volumetric water charges will be billed at six monthly intervals in accordance with the measured consumption, less allocated base units.

Residential/domestic properties will have a base allocation of 600 kL per annum available before excess water is charged.

Excess Water Charges

All water consumed above the base allocation of 600 kL/pa will be charged at a rate of $ 0.85 per kilolitre.
